Our colleagues at The Gargoyle Consulting Club & UChicagoGRAD are proud to host Pam Schilling (Founder, The MBA Exchange) for an 8-session workshop series called "Capturing Consulting Offers". During sessions from January 31-April 29, graduate students and postdocs will learn about best practices related to job documents, interviewing, case preparation, and networking. Learn what it takes to get a job at a top consulting firm, and how preparation for consulting applications can prepare you for interviews elsewhere.

The kickoff session, which takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on January 31, is free! To attend ALL remaining 7 sessions costs a total of $10, thanks to generous sponsorship by the Graduate Council, myChoice and UCBA.

UCBA is proud to host the first "Booth 101" seminar for BSD graduate students and post docs. An academic representative from the Booth School of Business will be there to provide information on classes and the registration process as well as answer any questions you may have. Additionally, current Booth students will speak about the opportunities for biomedical researchers in the business community. Finally, current graduate students who have taken business classes during their time in the BSD will comment on their experience at Booth and managing the class load along with their lab work. We hope this seminar will provide the information needed for BSD students to take advantage of the opportunities available to them through the greater UChicago community.
